All About Balance
Let’s talk about the one thing we are all looking for & are struggling to find.
Balance.
We all want it, and yet it’s so fucking hard to find & maintain.
Why??
Maybe because balance isn’t what we think it is. Maybe it’s not this magic juggling act of having the perfect amount of each thing at the same time in regards to physical health, mental health, relationships, work, family life, self care.
Maybe it’s something a little different.

Maybe it’s taking different periods of our lives to focus on certain things. And while we focus on those things, other things get put on the back burner for a bit.
And so we feel guilty, and we feel like we need to do a better job of “balancing everything”.
But the truth is that we ARE BALANCING EVERYTHING.
Just at different times.

So if right now you’re hitting the gym everyday and focusing on your health, but other things are going to the side, that’s OKAY.
And if you’re in school and you’re not hitting the gym everyday or eating the healthiest, but you’re studying and working your butt off, that’s OKAY.
Because different periods of our lives need to focus on different things. And that’s OKAY.
And maybe that’s really what balance is after all.
So when you get caught up in thinking that you need to do a better job of achieving balance, be gentle on yourself. And know that you’re living the process.
