Tipsy x Choosingchelsea Fall Collab!

My first collaboration with Tipsy Boutique in Santa Cruz, CA launched in August (some of the pieces were re-ordered and are still available - yay!) and it was beyond exciting!

While I’m not at the level of designing clothes myself (yet?), I got to help Amber select each item for the boutique collection. COVID definitely made this a bit more challenging because we had to pick the items based solely on the photos we saw online, without getting to see them in person or try them on. We luckily ended up with a bunch of winning pieces, but decided to keep the fall collection limited to just a few very special items.

What makes the Tipsy x ChoosingChelsea collab special other than I got to help pick the pieces, is that it’s the shop's first line of extended sized items! Everything comes in sizes small up to 3X! As someone who has been size 3x, down to size small, and basically every size in between - shopping at boutiques has always been a struggle. And being in a bigger body, the shopping experience can often feel like something you can’t participate in at most boutique shops. So this was something I was so excited about.

Bixby Dress

This is a cute lil’ off-Shoulder ruffle mini dress! It’s fully lined so it’s NOT SEE THROUGH. It has sheer spotted fabric with flowing sleeves and a fitted smocked waistline.

Carmel Eyelet Croptop & Skirt Set

This set is the ultimate goddess vibe! Right off the bat it doesn’t scream “FALL!”, but it looks super cute paired with a denim jacket or moto jacket. The waistband is nice and stretchy.

Tide Pool Sweater

This sweater makes me feel ALL kinds of sassy. It has an adjustable yarn front tie to make it your desired length. It’s already been a huge hit and there’s only a couple sizes left!
